Mix & Match Monday

Happy Monday everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend.  Today on the Pebbles blog we'll be mixing and matching some Pebbles products to show you just how well our collections can be used with one another.

Design team member Melinda Spinks created this sweet layout to celebrate a new furry addition to the family.  Here's what Melinda had to say ... "An assignment to mix and match Pebbles collections isn't really an assignment at all, it's basically an opportunity to simply scrap with what you love. Pebbles collections all seem to blend beautifully no matter what the theme or colour, so really it was a joy to put this layout together. I grabbed out all the paper I had from both Happy Go Lucky and Ever After and to be honest, I actually had to look twice to see which range I was using as they all matched perfectly. I created a layout based around the newest addition to our family who arrived this weekend and has been the centre of attention ever since. Introducing Mr Wilson, our long awaited Rag Doll kitten and he's just the sweetest darn thing who loves to sit and watch me scrap ...  awww!"

Design team member Jennifer Yates created this fabulous card using a combination of several different Pebbles collections.  Here's what Jennifer had to say ... "When I saw this quote "Follow your Dreams" from the Floral Lane Phrase Embellishments I knew right away I wanted to incorporate the Layered Cloud Embellishments with it.  I used black patterned paper from Mr. & Mrs. collection as the base to all the bright colors in the card. The papers from all the collections really work so well together!"

Design team member Stephanie Baxter recreated one of her favorite Pebbles embellishments - toothpick flags - using papers from several different collections.  Here's what Stephanie had to say ... "One of my all-time favourite Pebbles products is the Happy Go Lucky Toothpick Flags ... they are just super cute! I wanted to be able to have the same sort of embellishment but in some of the other patterns that Pebbles has to offer so I decided to make my own versions by cutting out strips of patterned paper from the various Pebbles collections, snipping the end into a flag shape and adhering them to toothpicks by folding the paper strips in half and putting adhesive in between. These would look great on a scrapbook page but today I decided to pair them with some of the Duplicate Rub-Ons to make fun cupcake toppers."
